Angie Mayo lives with her husband and three children in Pietermaritzburg. They are crazy about spaniels and enjoy spending time indoors. 

Angie is a passionate foundation phase teacher who is inspired by the exuberance and sense of wonder young children possess as they tackle each new day.

When her children were small Angie became frustrated by the constant visits to the doctor and so she decided to try children's whole food nutritional supplements. This was a turning point in the health of her children.

It was only when her children were older that she considered becoming a NeoLife distributor. Angie realised that it was the perfect opportunity to supplement her income on her own terms. She believes that whole food nutrition is very important to healthy living and has found that the products were an excellent way to add these essential nutrients to everyday life. As a mom and teacher, she found the ProVitality pack contained all the natural supplements to fill her with energy and vitality to keep up with the children in her care while meeting all the demands of a busy mom. 

It was during lockdown in 2020 that Angie began to wonder about all those people who had lost their jobs during the pandemic, those who had to worry about where their next meal would come from. She found an existing recipe for soup in a Ziplock bag and decided to layer the ingredients in a coffee jar instead. 

Angie decided to post a picture of the soup jar, which contained enough food to feed a family of eight a single meal, She encouraged her followers to create and pass out these 'jars of hope' to those in need.

Soon her post was shared to the popular 'I'm staying' Facebook group and went viral with over a million views in a few weeks. 

The response was overwhelming. People from all over South Africa began to share their own 'jars of hope' journeys onto Angie's website hearthealthandhome. She was inspired by how the jars were able to make a difference in so many lives. 

Angie loves that she has been able to make a difference in her families health and as well as in the lives of others. She loves working with the Yourday2day team and looks forward to continuing to grow her business during these tough times.
